We will award the certificate only if you meet the following requirements: maintain consistent attendance in classes, pass the written exam, and show acceptable practical performance.

Examination Structure:

At the end of the course, there will be three tests including theory, practical skills, and an oral assessment.

We will award certificates on the final day of the course.

Attendance Requirement:

Students must follow the Yoga TTC program’s schedule. A minimum attendance of 90% is compulsory to qualify for the certificate.

Policy on Drugs and Alcohol

Arohan Yoga School does not allow the consumption of drugs, alcohol, or cigarettes during all training programs. Moreover, embracing a substance-free lifestyle aligns with the core values of yoga, creating a deeper and more transformative experience during your training programs.

Respectful Behavior

We sincerely ask that students respect their professors, other classmates, and the ideals of Indian culture.

Considering the diverse cultural backgrounds and sensitivities within our student and teacher community, we adopt a conservative approach. Engaging in public displays of affection, such as kissing and hugging opposite-sex members, is not allowed.

Respectful behavior is crucial at our School and during training sessions. Consequently, any disrespectful behavior towards the team, staff, or fellow students may result in expulsion from the program without a refund.

Please be aware that refunds will not be provided in case of expulsion resulting from disrespectful behavior or a violation of the regulations.

What to Keep in Mind During Your Stay

Dietary Restrictions for Sattwic Living:

Eating fish, meat, and eggs is not allowed.

We do not advise the intake of tea or coffee. Instead, we offer unlimited Ayurvedic tea.

Students are required to adhere to a vegetarian diet throughout the course to embrace the holistic and Sattwic lifestyle. They will be given guidance and motivation to help them embrace a vegetarian diet.

Also, we have noticed that students often get sick on Mondays, likely due to eating unhealthy food on their days off. Please avoid this for your well-being.

Daily Schedule and Attendance:

The School’s main door closes at 9:30 p.m., and no entry or exit will be allowed after that time except for medical emergencies.

All classes require a minimum attendance of 90%.

Attendance is compulsory unless a student is unable to attend due to illness.

Dining Etiquette and Meal Plans:

Please refrain from eating in rooms or the yoga hall to prevent attracting insects.

Utensils must be washed promptly, and spillages cleaned immediately.

No food is provided on off days, and students are encouraged to inform in advance if they will not be eating to avoid wastage.

Breakfast includes two fruits and options such as upma, poha, porridge, parathas, or gram flour pancakes. Lunch and dinner include one portion each of dal, seasonal vegetable curry, chapatis, rice, and yogurt/salad.

Students have the option to purchase additional items at their own cost, such as fruits, dry fruits, vegetables, honey, and peanut butter from nearby sellers.

Conserving Energy:

We promote responsible electricity use, turning off appliances when not in use.

Yoga Mats and Accessories:

Before meals, place mats and accessories properly in designated areas.

Please use yoga mats and accessories only in the two designated yoga halls and do not bring them into personal rooms.

Weekend Stay-out Policy:

Staying out on Saturday night would require passport re-entry.

Laundry and cleaning:

We perform laundry twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with a limit of 5 items. However, undergarments and socks are excluded from the laundry service. Please leave clothes in the laundry basket the night before or before 6 a.m. the next day.

To have room and bathroom cleaning, students need to request it one day in advance and are limited to once every seven days.

Please hang clothes only on the drying rack or in the bathroom.

Sanitation Practices:

Students should discard toilet paper in waste bins rather than flush it down the toilet bowl itself to avoid clogging.

Classroom Etiquette

To ensure a smooth learning experience, please inform teachers in advance of any class absences due to illness, injury, or personal matters. Additionally, we kindly request students to avoid cross-talking during sessions and to remain seated rather than lying down during theory sessions, creating a conducive learning environment.

We expect all students to respect teachers and fellow participants, along with following the rules.

Photo and Video Usage

Arohan Yoga School might take pictures and videos during training sessions to share on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, the official website, and related materials for promotion. Thank you for understanding and cooperating with us in capturing moments that showcase the essence of our classes.

Conclusion

Please carefully read and understand the terms and conditions mentioned above. We expect all students to accept and follow them.

We look forward to the journey we’ll take together with each student at Arohan Yoga School!
